VARROACHECK WITH CO2 INJECTOR

Varroa EasyCheck is an essential new labour-saving tool for beekeepers who want to monitor varroa mite infestations in honey bee colonies more quickly, easily and reliably than ever before.  Now available to use with a CO2 injector (will not kill your bees!)

The Varroa EasyCheck makes varroa monitoring a simple practice that can be performed by all beekeepers. The unique design is the key to EasyCheck's reliability:

• Quick to use: 60secs of shaking
• Reliable: numerous holes in the bottom AND sides of the basket allow detached mites to fall more easily
• A tight lid for convenient and comfortable use
• Robust, solid material and easily transportable
• Two moulded guide lines allow samples of 200 or 300 bees
• Transparent bowl allows easy counting of mites directly in the device

Beekeepers simply collect 200 or 300 bees and shake them for 60 seconds in the EasyCheck shaker using the carbon dioxide injector or a solution of alcohol or winter windscreen washer fluid. Mites separate from the bees and fall to the bottom of the transparent bowl where they can be easily counted. The liquid may be reused.

Dispose of the bees if using liquid.  Return the bees to the hive if using the carbon dioxide injector.
